Before installing most mods I would recommend looking into the Posts section of the desired mod on Nexus to see if anyone has had conflicts in recent years, this has saved me many a time with Fallout 3.īack in 2008 people either used the built-in GECK software that came with Fallout 3 to mod, or installed mods manually, which means that a portion of the mods that predate NMM or Vortex aren't going to install properly. You'd be surprised how many of the mods simply don't work anymore, bug your game out, or flat out don't install using Vortex.
